Changing the Tool

Before carrying out any work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance, tool change etc.), remove the battery from the power tool. There is risk of injury from unintentionally pressing the on/off switch.

When fitting an application tool, make sure that it is held securely in the tool holder. If the application tool is not held securely in the tool holder, it may become loose and consequently uncontrollable.

Inserting

Slide the application tool (16) onto the square drive of the tool holder (1) as far as it will go on the rubber ring (tool holder) (2).

Note: The rubber ring (tool holder) (2) rotates when the power tool is operated with the tool holder (16). Therefore, keep a small distance between the rubber ring (tool holder) (2) and the gearbox housing of the power tool.

Pulling

Pull the application tool (16) away from the square drive of the tool holder (1).
